About the Owners
Kyle Norris spent his early years in Oklahoma, Arizona and Arkansas. In 1981, he settled down in the Phoenix area. Kyle caught the entrepreneurial spirit as a teenager working odd jobs in Arkansas. One of those jobs was a part-time printing position at a small printing company. Kyle found printing exciting and was pleasantly surprised when his parents switched careers and started their own printing company in Phoenix. He worked part-time for his parents learning the printing business, while attending college full-time.
In 1985, Kyle graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. It was there Kyle met his wife, Anna.
Anna is virtually a native, having lived in Arizona since the age of one. As a high school honor graduate, Anna was awarded a full scholarship to Arizona State University. Once again excelling academically, she graduated with honors, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1990. Anna and Kyle married that same year, joining both their personal and corporate lives.
Currently, Anna handles all the accounting for the company, while managing their home and family. Kyle and Anna are now the principle owners of Arizona Label & Packaging and continue to enjoy the challenges their customers provide.
MISSION
Our mission is to provide a simple solution to complex labeling, packaging and marketing problems by employing professional, highly motivated employees to support and operate state of the art printing equipment in the manufacture of high quality pressure sensitive labels, flexible packaging, tags, shrink sleeves and custom products.
HISTORY
Arizona Label & Packaging took root as a small one-press label company named Arizona Label Systems. It was founded in 1976 when Eugene Shane who had an existing printing company in Phoenix, purchased a small 3-color label press and an assortment of dies. Later, looking to retire, Eugene sold the company to Glen and Jeanne Norris in 1982. Glen and Jeanne blended the label company into their commercial printing company, Preferred Printing & Graphics. After graduating from college in 1986, Kyle Norris, the son of Glen and Jeanne joined the company full-time. Kyle soon assumed full management and began a concentrated effort to build the biggest small label and packaging company in the southwest. Kyle accomplished this by upgrading the equipment and employing quality minded, creative, and service oriented people. Kyle and his wife Anna are now the principle owners and have found success helping their customers stay successful!
